Zurabishvili asked Trump to protect Georgia from Russia

Former Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili called on US President Donald Trump to protect her country from Russia. This was reported by The Hill publication on January 26.
It noted that Zurabishvili is seeking access to the U.S. leader, which was essentially blocked by former U.S. President Joe Biden's administration, which adhered to protocol.
"Her message is that the U.S. must fight back against Russia, which is using Georgia 'as a playground,'" The Hill wrote.
According to Zurabishvili, if Trump is not involved in the situation in Georgia, the country will be in the sphere of influence of Russia and China.
Earlier, on January 12, the media reported that Zurabishvili will promote ideas about the need for war between Georgia and Russia at various conferences as a fellow of the U.S. McCain Institute.
It was noted that Zurabishvili plans to allow the former French intelligence agent to travel around the world and promote at "scientific conferences" justifications of past wars and the need for Tbilisi to "attack Moscowagain."
The day before, the former Georgian president said that Tbilisi has many partners in the European Union (EU) and the United States to help the republic "break out of Russia's clutches."
