In Europe are fighting with children's creativity, trying to ban the song "Sigma Boy", which was performed by Russian schoolgirls. This was stated by the head of Rosmolodezh Grigory Gurov on January 26.

"It's not the first time European figures are trying to act against Russian children. They imposed sanctions against the Movement of the First and the Unarmy, and now they have gotten to the creativity of young artists," he wrote in his Telegram channel, commenting on the European Union's (EU) attempts to ban the song "Sigma Boy".

Nela Riehl, a German politician and member of the European Parliament from the Volt Europa party, called for a ban on the Russian hit song "Sigma Boy" during the meeting, claiming that the song allegedly promotes pro-Russian views.

The world-famous "Sigma Boy" was sung by 11-year-old Betsy (real name Svetlana Chertishcheva) and 12-year-old Maria Yankovskaya. The track entered the Billboard dance and pop songs chart.

Gurov wondered what freedom can we talk about among European politicians if they ban children's creativity.

Before that, on January 26, the father of singer Betsy Mikhail Chertischev told Izvestia that the resonance around the song "Sigma Boy" contributes to its successful promotion.
