A fire broke out in the administrative building of SIZO-1 in Rostov-on-Don

A fire occurred in the administrative building of pre-trial detention center-1 in Rostov-on-Don. This was reported on Monday, January 27, in the GU FSIN of Russia in the Rostov region.

"In SIZO-1 (Rostov-on-Don) GUFSIN of Russia in the Rostov region there was a fire in one of the rooms of the administrative building with an area of about 5 square meters," - told in the press service of the department.

They noted that the fire was promptly extinguished, and no one was injured as a result of the incident. The GU FSIN of Russia in Rostov region added that the incident is being checked.

December 25, three convicts sentenced to forced labor, who escaped from the correctional center in the Sverdlovsk region, were detained by officers of the Federal Penitentiary Service. The convicts unauthorizedly left the site functioning as a correctional center (UFIC), where they were serving their sentences.
