Luxembourg ranked first in the ranking of gasoline availability in Europe

Luxembourg has taken the first line of the rating of gasoline availability among European countries at the beginning of 2025. This is reported by "RIA Novosti" on January 27 with reference to the study.

"As in the previous year, the maximum amount of gasoline (a little more than 2.7 thousand liters) for an average salary can be purchased in Luxembourg, where fuel prices are relatively low, and the income of the population is one of the largest in Europe," - reported in the material of the agency.

The second place was taken by Great Britain with the indicator of 2244 liters. Austria, Ireland and Norway are also in the top 5.

At the same time, Russia takes the 15th line of the rating, positioned between Spain and Kazakhstan. Our fellow citizens can afford 1242.6 liters of fuel on the average salary in the country. Changes in prices for gasoline AI-95 compared to 2024 amounted to 9.9%. Now one 1 liter will cost motorists 60.6 rubles.

"The smallest amount of gasoline (about 520 liters) can be purchased in Moldova, where low prices are naturally combined with modest earnings," the agency notes.

Earlier, on December 25, 2024, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that fuel prices will not rise above inflation at the end of the year. He noted that the Russian fuel market is fully supplied with gasoline and diesel fuel.
