Su-34 crew hit an AFU stronghold in the border area of Kursk Region
The crew of the Su-34 multirole supersonic fighter-bomber of the Air and Space Forces has hit a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 27.
It is specified that the Su-34 crew struck a stronghold of the Ukrainian armed forces at night using aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK).
After receiving confirmation from intelligence about the defeat of AFU personnel and armored vehicles, the crew safely returned to the airfield.
Earlier, on January 25, a Ka-52 crew disrupted an AFU rotation in the Kursk region. According to the coordinates of the location of the enemy's armored vehicles and personnel determined in advance by reconnaissance, missiles were launched. The targets were successfully hit.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk region on August 6, 2024. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory is underway.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by the President of the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the worsening situation in the region.
