Investigators have arrested suspects in a 30-year-old murder case


Employees of the Interior Ministry and the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation have tracked down and detained two suspects in a 30-year-old murder case. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry Irina Volk in Telegram-channel.
"Colleagues from the GUUR of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia together with employees of regional police departments and the Investigative Committee of Russia solved the murder, which was committed almost 30 years ago," - she said.
It is specified that in the summer of 1991, the body of a 21-year-old man with gunshot wounds was found in Vladivostok. Two of his acquaintances became suspects in the murder, but they left Primorsky Krai and thus avoided responsibility.
However, after many years in the course of work with materials of past years, police were able to find and detain the fugitives.
"They were detained with the support of Rosgvardiya at their places of residence in the city of Labinsk, Krasnodar Krai, and the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk Krai," said Irina Volk.
The suspects will be taken to Vladivostok for all necessary investigative actions.

Earlier, on December 5, 2024, law enforcement agencies detained in the Moscow region four men suspected of a triple murder committed in 2005. The attackers entered the house through the window. On the first floor they saw the mistress of the house and hit her with a bat, and then beat up the victim's husband and father who came running to the noise. The men died of their injuries on the spot, the woman later died in hospital.
