Russian embassy expects Denmark to increase military support for Ukraine

Under the Danish presidency, the EU may increase arms supplies to Kiev, the Russian embassy in Copenhagen told Izvestia.
"During the Danish presidency of the EU, which will take place in the second half of 2025, one of Copenhagen's priorities will be to increase joint purchases and production of weapons in EU countries, including for subsequent transfer to Ukraine," the diplomatic mission pointed out.
The embassy noted that the overwhelming majority of Danish parliamentary parties are in favor of continuing to support Ukraine. Thus, for 2025, Copenhagen has already provided for the allocation of military aid to Kiev in the amount of about $1.3 billion.
