The concert of blogger Ivan Zolo (real name - Ivan Zolochevsky) was canceled in the shopping center "Melodiya" in Sochi because of reports of mines. This was stated by the performer in a video message in his Telegram channel on January 26.
"Guys, to the deepest regret, I have to say that the event will not take place due to false mines on our site," he said.
According to the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Interior Ministry in Krasnodar Krai, police units were sent to the scene to establish the details of the incident, all visitors were evacuated. The audience expressed dissatisfaction over the canceled concert, about 100 people gathered on the street.
"About 20 of them were taken to the police to clarify the circumstances, minors will be handed over to their parents", - stated in the message of the department.
The blogger also urged everyone who had questions about the tickets to contact the organizers and return the money through the platforms on which they were bought.
Earlier, on January 17, in St. Petersburg, 755 people were evacuated after reports from the United States about the mining of 21 objects. After a thorough inspection, police reported that no explosive devices were found.
