Lukashenko condemned Musk for his gesture at Trump's inauguration

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko condemned the gesture of American entrepreneur Ilon Musk at the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump. This was reported by BelTA on January 26.
Musk at Trump's inauguration on January 20 showed a gesture similar to the Nazi greeting. After finishing his speech, the head of the freshly created DOGE department hit himself in the chest with his right hand and then raised it up diagonally. He then turned around and repeated the gesture a second time.
"I didn't say about Musk for nothing: no matter what they justify it, when he's zigging openly there - the Americans and this Musk have already got naked," Lukashenko's agency in his Telegram-channel quoted him as saying.
The Belarusian leader noted that Musk is aware that such gestures have Nazi symbols. He also expressed surprise as to why the Jewish community in the U.S. has not condemned the actions of the entrepreneur.
On January 24, Musk expressed his displeasure that the algorithms of the social network X (formerly Twitter), which he owns, were filling the feed with posts with Nazi greetings.
A few days earlier, Musk accused Democrats of dirty tricks after displaying a "Nazi salute." To his publication, the businessman attached one of his old posts, in which he noted that Democrats will apparently launch a black PR campaign against him for defecting to the Republican Party.
In addition, on January 22, 2024, the businessman, who has been accused of anti-Semitism, visited with his son a museum at the site of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz (Auschwitz) in Poland. He admitted that until recently he was "naive" about the extent of anti-Semitism, saying it was because most of his friends are Jewish and he had little contact with them in his life.
