Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. You can track the progress of the joint troops of Russia, the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DNR and LNR), as well as view a map of military operations for January 26 in the Izvestiya piece.

The Defense Ministry reported that the Russian Armed Forces (AF) liberated the settlement of Zelenoye in the DNR. The work was carried out by units of the grouping of troops "Center". In this direction, the Ukrainian forces lost up to 650 servicemen, four armored combat vehicles, eight vehicles and three field artillery guns.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were also defeated by units of the "West", "South", "East", "North" and "Dnipro" groups of forces. Thanks to their work, enemy ammunition depots, electronic warfare stations and field artillery, including those produced by NATO countries, were destroyed in various directions.

The Russian army hit energy facilities that support the actions of the AFU and Ukraine's military-industrial complex, the infrastructure of military airfields, production workshops, storage facilities for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and uncrewed boats, as well as places where they are being prepared for combat use, and concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment in 153 areas.

In addition, the air defense forces shot down three shells of the US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS) and 68 aircraft-type drones.

In total, 652 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 41,507 UAVs, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 20,852 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,510 MLRS combat vehicles, 20,945 field artillery and mortars, and 30,806 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
