The Ukrainian armed forces fired 73 munitions on populated areas of the Donetsk people's republic over 24 hours

Ukrainian troops shelled the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) 23 times over the day, as a result of the attacks one person was killed and three others were injured, including one child. "On the Gorlovka direction recorded 23 armed attacks. A total of 73 units of various ammunition were fired," informed the press service of the center in the Telegram-channel of the agency.

It is reported that 11 residential buildings, five cars and two objects of civil infrastructure were damaged.

Earlier, on January 21, the JCCC said that Ukrainian troops shelled the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) 25 times during the day, as a result of the attacks one person was killed and 21 others were wounded.

Prior to that, on January 10, the JCCC reported that two people were killed and 12 injured in the shelling of the DNR. Over the day, the armed formations of Ukraine (AFU) launched more than 15 strikes, using a strike drone, 155 mm caliber barrel artillery and rocket artillery of two calibers - 122 and 227 mm.

In addition, the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported that the AFU shelled populated areas in the Gorlovka direction of the DNR 32 times during January 9.
