Moscow has updated the rules for using the subway

The rules for using the subway in Moscow have been updated. This was reported in the Department of transport of the capital in Telegram-channel on January 25.

"We have made changes to the rules of use of the capital's subway to make trips even safer and more comfortable," - the words of Deputy Mayor of Moscow Maxim Liksutov are quoted.

Passengers were urged not to open the doors of carriages during the movement and stops, as well as not to interfere with their opening and closing at stations.

As for bicycles and personal mobility aids, they are allowed to be carried only in covers or packages. These rules do not apply to baby strollers.

In addition, Deptrans urged passengers to move on foot in the territory of stations and underpasses. It is important to avoid traveling on scooters, roller skates and other similar means of transportation.

Muscovites were also reminded of the ban on smoking in the subway, including the use of electronic cigarettes.

In addition, deptrans noted that watching video and listening to audio should be done only with headphones, so as not to inconvenience other passengers.

Animals and birds are recommended to be carried in special containers or bags, with the exception of guide dogs, which should be on a leash.

Earlier, on January 10, the director of the group of companies "Fire Center", security expert Alexander Starostin called the algorithm of actions in case of a fall on the track. According to him, if there is no approaching train, it is necessary to go as quickly as possible to the place where the first car stops. It is indicated by a black and white sign on the wall.

If there is no such an opportunity and the train is approaching, it is necessary to lie down as quickly as possible in the inter-rail pit with the head in the direction of the incoming train. As Starostin noted, this is necessary to prevent vortex currents from pulling up clothes, hair and so on. It is necessary to lie with your head facing downwards towards the train, if possible covering your head with your hands.
