Blogger Dana Ormanbayeva, who insulted a Russian-speaking woman in Kazakhstan, has been put on an international wanted list as part of a criminal case on inciting ethnic hatred. This was reported by the agency NewTimes.kz on January 25.

"The court authorized in absentia a measure of restraint in the form of "detention in custody". At the same time, the suspect is declared in the international search," - the agency quotes the message of the police department of Almaty.

It is noted that Ormanbayeva currently resides in Dubai.

The publication specifies that in April 2024, the blogger in the social network made a number of statements in the address of a representative of another nationality.

Earlier, on January 15, Bloomberg reported that Russian-speaking residents of Estonia, who make up about 30% of the total population, are subjected to violation of rights by the government. The agency shared the story of Larisa, who has lived in Estonia for most of her life. She has difficulties with the national language and worked as a kindergarten teacher with Russian speakers for almost 20 years. However, she lost her job in September 2024 as the government required more than 40 schools to change the language of instruction from Russian to Estonian. It is specified that about 670 teachers lost their positions.
