Suspect in the murder of a mother and two children in Mari El detained

Law enforcement agencies have detained a man suspected of murdering a mother and two children in Mari El. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry Irina Volk on January 25.

"My colleagues from the Republic of Mari El in the shortest possible time detained a suspect in a triple murder in the town of Zvenigovo," she wrote in Telegram-channel.

In addition, the source of "Izvestiya" reported that the identity of the suspect was established. He turned out to be Alexander I. Also became known the identity of the dead - 29-year-old Tatiana S., a seven-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl.

The murder of a woman and two children in Mari El became known earlier in the day. The murdered were found in an apartment in the town of Zvenigovo with stab wounds. On this fact, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under paragraphs "a", "c" of part 2 of article 105 ("Murder of two or more persons, including a minor").
