A woman with two children was murdered in Mari El

The bodies of a murdered woman and her two children were found in Mari El. A criminal case has been initiated over the incident. This was reported in the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the region on January 25.

The murdered were found in an apartment in the town of Zvenigovo with stab wounds. The woman was 29 years old.

"A criminal case has been instituted on the grounds of a crime under paragraphs "a", "c" of part 2 of article 105 ("Murder of two or more persons, including a minor")", - said in the message of the investigating authorities.

All the circumstances of the incident are currently being established.

Earlier, on December 5, 2024, law enforcement agencies detained four men suspected of a triple murder committed in 2005 in the Moscow region.
