On Vasilyevsky Island in St. Petersburg in a two-room apartment on Kanareechnaya Street caught fire, a rescuer was injured during extinguishing. This was reported on January 25 by a source of TV channel "78".
It is specified that the fire spread over an area of 15 square meters. m. In the apartment lives a family with a child, but at the time of the fire there was no one at home. Firefighters evacuated four people from the building, they are unharmed. However, a 23-year-old rescuer was injured, he received burns to his hands and was hospitalized in consciousness.

Earlier, on January 20, firefighters rescued two children from a burning apartment in Yaroslavl. A five-year-old boy stood on the window sill, trying to escape the fire. A six-year-old child was found by rescuers inside the smoke-filled room. The children were handed over to medics. The area of the fire was 10 square meters, 14 specialists and five units of equipment worked to extinguish it.
