The bodies of two dead found under the rubble of a four-storey house, which collapsed in the province of Konya in Turkey, three people were rescued. This was reported by the head of the Interior Ministry of the Republic Ali Yerlikaya.

"We wish God's mercy to the two people who died. <...> There is no one else among the wreckage, the search is over," said the Minister, his words quoted by the TV channel IHA.

It is specified that three more people were rescued from under the rubble. Yerlikaya added that after the end of the search and rescue operation, specialists will start removing the debris from the collapse site.

The TV channel adds that 962 people and 216 units of equipment are working at the scene, some of them came from neighboring provinces.

A four-story house in the province of Konya collapsed the day before, January 24. Footage taken by an eyewitness on a phone camera shows people running away from the collapsing building. The causes of the collapse are being clarified.
