Zakharova called the Deepakademy a symbol of international communication


The diplomatic academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry has a long tradition going back to the past. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on January 24.
"The Diplomatic Academy has its own traditions, which have their roots literally in the past, but in the past that gives us just the strength for the future," the diplomat said at the Open Doors Day at the Dipakademy.
According to her, the university has a level of educational process that has never been lowered. Zakharova noted that the academy offers educational courses both for applicants and for professional development of specialists.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out that the Diplomatic Academy has become a symbol and an element of international communication, specifying that there are such universities in other countries as well.
"I want to say that this is really a brand, this is really a level, and this is really history and modernity that connect and meet within these walls," Zakharova emphasized.
The Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation is a state university, one of the oldest centers in the world for the training of diplomatic staff, the date of its foundation is July 29, 1934. Currently, the academy trains specialists in international relations, economics (including world economics), political science, jurisprudence and international law.
On the eve of January 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin called on January 24 to increase the work of Lomonosov Moscow State University in the field of international cooperation. The head of state noted that the university fulfills a special mission to promote Russian education and Russian culture abroad, to strengthen friendly and business ties with foreign scientific and educational partners.
