Putin instructed to ensure a 50% discount on air tickets for children

It is necessary to ensure that airlines provide a 50% discount on air tickets for children under 12 years of age. Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued such an instruction.

"Take measures to ensure that airlines provide children under the age of 12 with a discount of at least 50% of the cost of air transportation <...> carried out over the territory of the Russian Federation", - stated in the list of instructions of the head of state, published on the Kremlin website on January 24.

It is specified that this applies to flights on both domestic and international routes. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has been appointed responsible for the execution of this order. The date of the report on the implementation of the requirement is set for February 1.
