Four people injured in explosion at oil depot in Kazakhstan

At the oil depot in the Kazakh city of Zhezkazgan there was an explosion with subsequent fire, as a result four people were injured. This was reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic on January 25.

"On the territory of one of the oil depots located in the city of Zhezkazgan, three special purpose vehicles caught fire. Before the arrival of fire units there was an explosion of gas-air mixture and destruction of the walls of the hangar," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

Firefighters liquidated the fire on an area of 100 square meters. m. As a result of the incident four people were hospitalized.

Earlier in the day it was reported about the fire at the oil field Rumaila in Iraq at the oil refinery. Production at Iraq's Superman Rumaila is about 1.45 million barrels per day. Two local oil workers suffered minor burns.
