Sobyanin congratulated Muscovites on the Day of Russian Studenthood

On the day of the 270th anniversary of the founding of Moscow University, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin congratulated young people on the holiday in his Telegram channel.

He noted that the establishment of Moscow State University became a new milestone in the history of national education and science.

"Today Tatiana's Day is celebrated by hundreds of thousands of Moscow students - smart, energetic, purposeful. Together with your profession you get excellent opportunities in the capital to realize your talents, cultural development, sports, active participation in the life of the city and a successful start to your career. May the title of Moscow student inspire you to conquer new heights. I wish you loyal friends, successful studies, bright achievements in work and life", - wrote the capital city mayor.

A variety of events are planned for Moscow students on the festive day in the capital. Thus, the Moscow Zoo invites everyone to take part in the intellectual competition "Uniziverse Quest", which will be held on January 25. The State Museum of Moscow Defense will organize an excursion "Cadets of military schools in the Battle for Moscow".

Severnoe Tushino Park offers screenings of movies from the golden collection of Mosfilm. In the demonstration hall of the submarine B-396 "Novosibirsk Komsomolets" will be able to see the pictures "Lonely are given a hostel" and "The Incredible Adventures of Italians in Russia".

The cultural and leisure center of the park "Khodynskoe Pole" will present the play "Farce in Four Walls, or the Story of One Deception". Visitors will be able to watch the story of two students who solve problems with rent.

A ball in the style of the movie "Stilyagi" will be held in the park "Angarskiye Ponds". Visitors will be able to dance to musical compositions performed by a brass quartet and a cover band. The best dancers will be named king and queen of the evening. Costume balls will also be held in Friendship Park, Hermitage Garden and Dubki Park.
