A Russian man died in Thailand after falling from a motorcycle

A Russian man died on the Thai island of Phuket after falling from a motorcycle. This was reported on January 24 by the local edition of The Phuket News with reference to the police report.

According to him, the 35-year-old man lost control on a turn, crashed into a road barrier and suffered severe head trauma. An ambulance was immediately called to the scene. Medics took the Russian to the hospital, where his death was confirmed.

Law enforcers examined the scene and ordered a forensic medical examination. The Royal Police, the migration bureau and the Russian Embassy have been informed about the incident.

Earlier, on January 2, a bus with Russian tourists was involved in an accident in Thailand, 27 people were injured, but there were no casualties. A total of 39 tourists, guide and driver were on the bus. Three of the victims had moderate injuries, the rest had minor injuries.
