The State Duma named the average size of the insurance pension from February

The average old-age insurance pension will amount to about Br25 thousand from February. This was reported by State Duma deputy Nikita Chaplin from "United Russia" to "RIA Novosti" on January 25.

According to him, since January 1, the average old-age insurance pension has increased by 7.3%. At the moment it amounts to 24,059 rubles.

"After recalculation, this amount will increase by another 2.2%, that is, the payment will amount to about 25 thousand rubles," - said the deputy.

Pension indexation in February: by how much payments will be raised

They will be increased up to the actual inflation rate

Earlier, January 21, Nikita Chaplin said that, perhaps, in February, pensioners will be able to get an additional indexed pension and compensation for the January period. Thus, the pension, which amounted to Br16 thousand, will grow to Br17,520 instead of Br17,168.

Before that, on January 20, experts told "Izvestia" about how to act if the NPF is reorganized. According to experts, when several funds are merged and reorganization procedure takes place, their clients should not worry. Their funds are protected by law, and any additional actions and renegotiation of contracts are not required. The merged fund will continue to fulfill all obligations to clients (pension payments, investment of funds, etc.) by way of legal succession. Usually the process is comfortable for clients, the funds inform them about the beginning of the reorganization and all stages of the merger.
