The governor of the Bryansk region reported the destruction of a drone over the region

Air defense (air defense) means have destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the sky over the Bryansk Region, Governor Alexander Bogomaz said on January 25.

"An enemy UAV of aircraft type has been detected and destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry over the Bryansk region," he said in his Telegram channel.

As noted by the head of the region, there are no casualties and destruction. Operational services are working at the site.

The day before, the Russian Defense Ministry said that overnight Russian air defense means destroyed 121 Ukrainian drones over the Russian territory. The AFU attempted to attack the territories of Bryansk, Ryazan, Kursk, Saratov, Rostov, Moscow, Belgorod, Voronezh, Tula, Orel, Lipetsk regions, as well as Crimea and Moscow.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
