A man died in Ireland because of storm Eowyn
In Ireland, a man died when a tree fell on his car due to strong winds. This was reported by The Irish Times on Friday, January 24.
The incident occurred at about 08:30 Moscow time in the county of Donegol. The man was behind the wheel.
Storm "Eowyn" led to the closure of airports, schools and various businesses. In Ireland, more than 715 thousand homes remained without light due to bad weather.
Earlier, January 22, in the UK in some areas was introduced "red" level of weather danger due to the upcoming storm "Eowyn". It was noted that the "red" level will operate in part of Scotland and the whole of Northern Ireland. In the rest of the UK will remain "yellow" and "orange" levels of danger.
