Media learned about the rejection of businesses in Germany from Tesla because of Musk's support for the AdG party

Several German companies have already stopped or plan to stop using Tesla cars of American entrepreneur and billionaire Ilon Musk as company cars because of his words of support for the party "Alternative for Germany" (AdG). This was reported on January 21 by the German broadcaster Tagesschau, citing sources.

According to the publication, a company in Germany decided to give up 11 Tesla electric cars for service and stop posting materials in the social network X (formerly Twitter), owned by Musk.

"From our point of view, he (Musk. - Ed.) has overstepped certain boundaries, interfering in European and German politics, which is unacceptable for us," Tagesschau reports the words of a senior official.

In addition, a German car rental company announced that it will cut Tesla's share for economic reasons. It is also noted that German citizens have stopped considering Musk's company's autos for purchase.

According to the broadcaster, more than 60 universities have announced their withdrawal from Platform X. German ministries also expressed reluctance to use the social network of the American businessman to run their pages.

Earlier, on January 10, it was reported that the Bundestag launched a check in connection with the possible illegal influence of Musk on the upcoming elections to the German Parliament. It was noted that his conversation with the candidate for Chancellor of Germany from the party AdG Alice Weidel in X caused concern in the Bundestag.

Before that, on January 6, the head of the Commission of the Council of the Russian Federation on information policy Alexei Pushkov called the joint live broadcast of Musk and Weidel a powerful blow to politicians in Germany. On the same day, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the American billionaire supports a "new reactionary international" and directly interferes in the German elections.
