The case of embezzlement of 3.5 million rubles during the stadium renovation was initiated in Stavropol Territory

In the Stavropol Territory a criminal case on fraud in the reconstruction of the stadium has been initiated. This was reported to Stavropol.Media by the press service of the regional department of the FSB.

It is about the stadium "Signal" in the town of Izobilnoye, the reconstruction of which was carried out under the national project. According to the investigators, the contracting firm installed one set of equipment for passing the TRP standards instead of the necessary 16 and displayed inaccurate information in the documents confirming the execution of the contract.

The damage exceeded 3.5 million rubles. A criminal case under part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Fraud on a large scale" has been initiated.

As specified by the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in its Telegram-channel, the figure in the case is the head of the company, a 31-year-old resident of a neighboring region. The maximum sanction of the article imputed to him provides up to 10 years of imprisonment.

Earlier in January, a court in Krasnoyarsk Kra i sentenced the director of DorMostIzyskaniya LLC for fraud in the performance of a state contract under the national project "Safe Quality Roads". He was given a two-year suspended sentence.
