On January 24, the day after the Oscar nominees were announced, the actor came to the ethno-village of Serbian director Emir Kusturica Drvengrad, where the Kustendorf film festival is held. There he told Izvestia who was the first to congratulate him on his nomination and about the offers of cooperation that are now coming in. Also Yura Borisov explained his famous exhalation of relief at the "Golden Globe" at the moment when it was not him who was called for the award.

- Whose Oscar nomination congratulations were the most unexpected and pleasant?

- I don't even know. Everybody was nice. It was, to be honest, mixed into a whirlwind of congratulations, which started a minute after the announcement of my nomination and is still going on. So I can't really say... It's hard to make out what's going on at all (smiles).

- And who congratulated you first?

- My family, because we watched the broadcast together. We were asked to record a video of us doing it. It was my daughters and my wife.

- Soon to be released your movie "The Summer Will End", which is being hailed as one of the top hits of the season. One of the directors, Maxim Arbugaev, also nominated for an Oscar, for "Exit". Did he congratulate his fellow nominee?

- Yes, he congratulated him too. He wished him luck.

- When you sit down to write a speech for the Oscars, who will you call for help?

- I will not sit down to write a speech, thank you! (Laughs) I will not call anyone and I will not write a speech.

- If you win, will you improvise? We believe in you.

- I am very happy, but I do not want to think about it, to be honest.

- In social networks spread a fragment from the "Golden Globes", where you exhale with relief when the best supporting actor is called Kieran Culkin. What did that reaction mean? They joke that you were glad you didn't have to give the speech in English. Is that true?

- Of course it's true! Because you're sitting there worrying. It's not my language. It's hard to speak it anyway. And if I had to do it, of course... I mean, if I had to, I would have done it, but I really exhaled when I didn't have to give a speech in English (smiles).

- After the success of "Anora" at Cannes, have you received many offers? Perhaps you have already accepted some of them?

- I haven't accepted anything yet. I've received a number of offers, of varying degrees of interest to me, but I'm still reading and thinking. It takes some time to sort out, to understand what I want to do next.

- In Los Angeles, where the Oscars will be awarded and where you now have to visit as the star of "Anora", there are already some favorite places? Where do you usually go there?

- I can't say I've spent so much time in Los Angeles that I have any favorite places and I always visit there.

- But do you stay at the same place there?

- Yes, in the same hotel.

- Have you been invited to the Hollywood Screen Actors Guild yet?

- What's the Hollywood Screen Actors Guild? I have been invited somewhere, I can't answer your question, because I haven't really understood the specifics of their industry yet. It's different from ours.
