- Trump again accused Russian Federation of stealing blueprints for US hypersonic missiles

US President Donald Trump on January 24 reiterated that Russia allegedly stole from Washington a draft plan to create hypersonic missiles during the Barack Obama administration.
Speaking in an interview on Fox News, the US leader noted that the creation project was originally allegedly owned by the US side, after which "some bad person" passed the blueprints to the Russian Federation.
"Under [former US President Barack] Obama's administration, they stole the design. Russia stole the project, they got it from us," The Washington Times quoted Trump as saying.
At the same time, the American leader indicated that the US will have "super-hypersonic" missiles, assuring that they will be even better. He promised to launch them soon.
Earlier, in October 2023, Trump had already accused Russia of allegedly stealing the blueprints of a "super-duper missile" from the United States during the administration of his predecessor Barack Obama . At the time, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on his words and noted that the Russian side had its own unique missiles.
