The number of people injured in the shelling of Horlivka by the AFU in the DNR increased to 10

In Horlivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), the number of injured civilians after shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has increased to 10 people. This was reported by the mayor of the city Ivan Prikhodko on January 24.

"The number of wounded by the shelling of Ukrainian terrorists Gorlovchans increased to 10," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

Prikhodko reported that a civilian was killed in the Stroitel residential area because of the AFU attack. The details of the incident are not specified.

On the same day it was reported that a civilian was killed and six other people were wounded in Horlivka as a result of shelling of the Stroitel residential area by the AFU.

Before that, on January 22, a civilian died as a result of the AFU shelling of Gorlovka in the DNR. Prikhodko expressed condolences to the loved ones and relatives of the deceased.

The AFU has been shelling Russian territories on a daily basis against the backdrop of the special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
