In the Tula region, almost 2.96 thousand people sought medical help for acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) in a week. The incidence increased by 58%.

According to the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor, the epidemiological season is reaching its peak, writes TSN24. The main increase in morbidity is observed among adults and children aged 7-14 years. During the week, 11 cases of influenza were registered.

Residents of the region are advised to use masks when in public places, wash their hands more often and avoid contact with people with signs of acute respiratory viral infections.

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, due to an increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections a mask mode was introduced in polyclinics and hospitals. Both employees and patients are required to wear masks.
