Representatives of the Moscow tourist industry visited 13 Russian regions on business missions last year. Among them are St. Petersburg, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Yaroslavl, Voronezh, Kaluga and Novosibirsk regions, reported Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

According to her, in total, Moscow companies held more than 1.5 thousand negotiations with colleagues, presenting the best offers for travelers, infrastructure and event poster.

"As a result of business meetings, the parties signed more than 600 contracts. In addition, market representatives and experts from all over the country visited Moscow as part of familiarization tours. They saw iconic places, visited festivals, learned about new excursion routes and plans for tourism development in the city," Sergunina noted.

The government of the capital develops the concept of interregional traveling "Moscow+". The idea is that tourists could combine several cities in one trip. Among popular projects - "Two cities - a million impressions" prepared together with St. Petersburg, with Kazan - "Two capitals of one horizon", with Nizhny Novgorod and St. Petersburg - "Three capitals: from dawn to dusk". Two more appeared in 2024: "Journey to the Russian Miracle" and "Journey to the Russian Fairy Tale". They are developed with Murmansk and Vladimir regions respectively.

Some of the routes are presented in the Russpass service, created on Moscow's initiative. Here users can choose an already formed offer or plan a vacation on their own, book hotels and buy tickets. The section has an interactive map with sights.

According to the tourism development program, the capital plans to receive almost twice as many guests from all over Russia by 2030 - about 46 million people.
