One person was injured when a gas-air mixture exploded in an apartment building in Astrakhan.

The explosion of a gas-air mixture occurred in a nine-story apartment building in Astrakhan, as a result of which one person was injured. This was announced on January 24 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

It is specified that the incident occurred at 13:10 (12:10 Moscow time) in the Sovetsky district.

"There is a victim. According to preliminary information, there is no structural collapse," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, four pieces of equipment and 12 personnel are working at the scene. Specialists evacuated the residents of the house. Interaction with the competent services is also organized. Details of the incident are being clarified.
