Belarus is increasing the volume of supplies of light industry goods to Russia. Representatives of Belarusian enterprises told on January 24 about the most demanded products.

One of such enterprises is the Atlant plant, which produces 3 thousand refrigerators and 1 thousand washing machines every day. At the same time, 80% of products are exported to Russia.

"The disadvantage [the refrigerator] has only one - it is very reliable and does not break down," said Dmitry Kharitonchik, Atlant's general director.

According to Izvestia correspondent Roman Polskov, 80 models of refrigerators and 60 models of washing machines are produced here now. There are also unique copies. It is noted that the company - the leader in the production of refrigerators in the CIS has a network of certified service centers throughout Russia. In addition, many components are purchased in the Russian Federation.

In addition to household appliances, Belarus supplies textiles, linen and knitwear to Russia.

"The import of Belarusian textile products to Russia ranks second after China's textile products. China accounts for 33% of exports on the Russian market and about 9-15% are Belarusian products," said Shamkhal Ildarov, president of the Association of Textile Manufacturers of Russia.

In addition, the largest in Europe and the CIS Orsha flax plant produces 8% of the world volume of linen textiles. Together with Russia, the production is supplied to 43 other countries of the world, such as Japan, South America, and the USA.

"For the entire existence of our enterprise, for all 95 years, we have produced over 2.8 billion linear meters of fabric. If all the fabric is sewed into one roll, the globe can be wrapped 88 times along the equator," emphasized Sergei Sidin, Deputy General Director of Orsha Flax Mill.

All these goods, both household appliances and textiles, can be found on the shelves of offline and online stores in Russia.

Earlier, November 22, it was reported that Belarus retains leadership in the supply of livestock products to Russia. The Rosselkhoznadzor specified to Izvestia that this, in particular, concerns supplies of milk, meat and eggs.
