- A participant of the interregional fair donated products for borderland residents

A participant of the interregional fair on Profsoyuznaya Street from the Voronezh region sent his products for the residents of border regions. This is reported on January 24 on the website of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
It is specified that he took his parcel to the headquarters for the collection of humanitarian aid "Moscow helps", which works daily. The participant of the interregional fair handed over 100 boxes of nut mixture and more than 150 packages of dried fruits to the volunteer organization.
According to the entrepreneur, generosity is a state of mind, so he is regularly engaged in volunteer activities. For example, before the New Year, he traditionally dresses up as Santa Claus and greets visitors to the fair.
"The headquarters has been open since February 22, 2022. I have been helping here since the very first days. Volunteers take food, personal hygiene items, household chemicals, new clothes and shoes. We check expiration dates, keep records of everything that is transferred, carefully pack it in boxes and send humanitarian aid as it is collected," said Nadezhda Ivanova, the team leader of the headquarters for the collection of humanitarian aid "Moscow Helps".
Earlier, on September 5, 2024, the capital started accepting applications for the badge of distinction "Volunteer of Moscow". Volunteer movement of the capital unites already 1.3 million people. They take care of veterans, the elderly and all those who need support, as well as participate in major city events, historical, cultural and patriotic projects.
