The head of the new U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) agency American billionaire Ilon Musk on Friday, January 24, expressed displeasure that the algorithms of the social network X (formerly Twitter), which he owns, fill the feed with posts with Nazi salutes.

"The recommendation algorithm on this platform sucks! I want to talk to a manager right now!" - he wrote.

Earlier on January 20, Musk showed a gesture similar to a Nazi greeting at the inauguration of US President Donald Trump. After finishing his speech, the head of the freshly created DOGE department hit himself in the chest with his right hand and then raised it up diagonally. He then turned around and repeated the gesture a second time.

Later, on January 21, Musk accused Democrats of dirty tricks after displaying a "Nazi salute." The businessman attached one of his old posts to his publication, in which he noted that Democrats will apparently launch a black PR campaign against him for defecting to the Republican Party.

On January 22, 2024, Ilon Musk, who has been accused of anti-Semitism, visited with his son a museum at the site of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz (Auschwitz) in Poland. He admitted that until recently he was "naive" about the extent of anti-Semitism, saying it was because most of his friends are Jewish and he had little contact with them in his life.
