Head of kindergarten to be tried for man's death in sewage collector in Transbaikalia

In the Zabaikalsky Krai, a criminal case has been brought to court over the death of a man who fell into a sewage well. Charges have been brought against the head of the kindergarten where the sewer was located.

The incident occurred in May 2024 in the village of Aginsky. According to IA ChitaMedia, a local resident was passing by the well and fell. During the inspection it was found that the collector was not closed with a metal cover.

Investigators specified that since July 2018, the head of the kindergarten did not ensure the maintenance of the object in good condition and the installation of a fence. Materials of the criminal case on negligence were transferred to the court for consideration on the merits.

In Chuvashia, a two-year-old child fell into a sewage well, which was used for the needs of a private house. The boy died.
