Criminal case opened after a woman in labor died in a hospital in Ingushetia
In Ingushetia, a criminal case was initiated after the death of a woman in labor in a hospital. This was reported on January 23 by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the republic.
It is reported that a 35-year-old local resident was brought to the hospital on December 20.
According to the IC, her health deteriorated, after which the woman in labor was transferred to the Ingush Republican Clinical Hospital, where she died on January 13.
A case was opened under part 2 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence due to improper performance of professional duties by a person").
Earlier, on January 21, in Kazan, a criminal case under part 2 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence due to improper performance of professional duties by a person") was opened over the death of a child born in 2023 in a private medical center.
