A new restriction on the retail sale of alcohol has been introduced in the Kamchatka Territory. Now the trade is prohibited on the Day of Love, Family and Fidelity.

According to the KamchatkaMedia news agency, the region is systematically working to tighten the requirements for the sale of alcoholic beverages. Six days of the year when trade organizations cannot sell alcohol have been approved. These are January 25 (Day of Russian Students), June 1 (International Children's Day), the last Saturday of June (Youth Day), July 8 (Day of Love, Family and Fidelity), September 1 (Knowledge Day), as well as September 11 (All-Russian Day of Sobriety).

The ban does not apply to the work of public catering enterprises. At the same time, there is a ban on the sale of alcohol in retail establishments located in apartment buildings of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky urban district and Yelizovsky municipal district. In addition, it is prohibited to sell alcohol in buildings where state and municipal institutions operate.
