Moscow, St. Petersburg and Tatarstan have become leaders in the rating of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) on the quality of life in 2024. This was announced on January 23 by the head of the agency Svetlana Chupsheva, whose words are quoted on the ASI website.

"Moscow and St. Petersburg retain their leading positions. The third region was the Republic of Tatarstan, which rose by two positions," she said during a meeting of the Supervisory Council with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In addition, the top 20 included the Tyumen region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, Moscow, Sakhalin, Tula and Nizhny Novgorod regions, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area, Belgorod region, Sevastopol, Chechen Republic, Krasnodar Territory, Republic of Adygea, Sverdlovsk, Kaluga, Chelyabinsk and Murmansk regions.

The Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Yaroslavl, Tomsk and Kirov regions are also leading in terms of growth dynamics.

Earlier in the day, Putin instructed ASI to propose tools for Russian brands to enter the global market. The head of state added that the ASI's direct task is to open up space for private initiative, as well as absolute new or already developing sectors of the economy in Russia.
