Russian and Belarusian scientists create unique projects within the framework of scientific and technical cooperation, opening up significant prospects in the international market. Developments are carried out in the fields of medicine, biotechnology and mechanical engineering.

The Belarusian studio for the development of interactive solutions is engaged in the creation of augmented and virtual reality simulators. General Director of Mind Games Soft Alexander Verbol noted that initially such developments were created for machines, the preparation of which is dangerous or expensive.

"In particular, this as a practice is used in the aircraft industry. There it is impossible to release an airplane without a simulator. We know how to make it affordable enough to be used by companies that produce machinery," he said.

Earlier, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko specified that the state "relies" on its developments in science, engineering and high technology. According to him, the country should develop what it excels in.

In addition, Minsk opened an industrial park "Great Stone," residents of which are high-tech companies. Thus, the assembly of agricultural drones for agriculture is carried out in the workshops.

Sergei Kostevich, deputy general director of Aviation Technologies and Complexes, emphasized that only Russian-Belarusian components are used in the development, with the exception of batteries from China.

"We are looking for new, innovative programs, including programs of the Union State, which are paid from the union budget in the sphere of space, material science, microelectronics, electronics, automotive, biotechnology. It all works for the common result," said Secretary of State of the Union State of Russia and Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev.

At the moment, scientists from Russia and Belarus are engaged in such projects as the creation of a collection of cerebrospinal fluids of patients with neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

Leading researcher of the Laboratory of Cell Defense Mechanisms Vladimir Lazarev noted that biologists are engaged in basic science, while Belarusian medical colleagues collect samples from patients and submit them for research.

Director of the National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, chief freelance therapist of the department Oksana Drabkina told "Izvestia" correspondent Nikolai Ivanov about the medical project, which aims to study the relationship between bone and muscle disease and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Earlier, January 21, it was reported that Russian and Belarusian scientists are implementing joint scientific programs within the Union State. It was specified that they are focused on the development of industrial technologies and protection of national interests of the states.
