Improvement works were completed near Vodny Stadion metro station

In Moscow, the landscaping of the territory near the metro station "Vodny Stadium" has been completed. This was reported on Thursday, January 23, by Deputy Mayor of the capital on housing and public utilities and landscaping Pyotr Biryukov.

According to him, specialists of the complex of urban economy improved transport and pedestrian accessibility of the station, organized convenient approaches and entrances to it, conditions for quick and comfortable transfer from one type of transport to another, reports the agency of city news "Moscow".

The works were carried out on Golovinsky highway, Kronstadt boulevard, Admiral Makarov and Vyborgskaya streets. In the course of the works, overhead lines were removed into the cable duct, the length of which exceeds 10 kilometers, RT specifies. This allowed to improve the visual appearance of the space, as well as to ensure safe operation of communications. In addition, three bus stops were installed, 12 more were moved to more convenient locations for passengers.

In addition, specialists replaced 190 old streetlights with modern ones with energy-efficient lamps, notes "Moscow 24".

On January 21, Biryukov said that the specialists have completed the first stage of landscaping of the areas near the MCD-4 station "Kuskovo" in the east of Moscow. According to him, the main task was to improve transport and pedestrian accessibility of the station, as well as to organize convenient approaches and entrances to it.
