A Tyumen resident has set a record by receiving 300 fines for traffic violations during 2024. This is reported on Thursday, January 23, in the Telegram-channel of the regional traffic police.

The 39-year-old owner of the car Volkswagen became a super debtor. Due to non-payment of fines, the woman's car was arrested by bailiffs.

The second place of the anti-Rating of the traffic police was taken by a 57-year-old Tyumen man who owns a Ford car. The man has 235 unpaid fines for traffic violations on his account.

A 41-year-old driver of a Nissan Murano rounded out the top three. His place of residence is not specified. He violated traffic rules 100 times, writes IA "Ura.ru".

As noted in the traffic police, car owners are considered persistent defaulters if they have accumulated 10 or more unpaid fines. Drivers who owe more than Br10 thousand also belong to this category.

Earlier in January, "Izvestia" wrote that a motorist who repeatedly imitates exhalation during sobriety tests using a breathalyzer is now considered to have refused an intoxication test. This is the conclusion reached by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. This will make it possible to prosecute drunk drivers who try to deceive traffic inspectors and narcologists.
