"Talks about important" on January 27 - the theme of the lesson

In December 2024, speaking at a meeting of the State Council on family support, Russian President Vladimir Putin reminded that in May the country will celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In this regard, the head of state declared 2025 the Year of Defenders of the Fatherland - in memory of all the heroes who fought for the Motherland in different historical periods, as well as those who defend the interests of Russia now, during a special military operation.

The meaning of the initiative and the importance of preserving historical memory will be discussed with schoolchildren and college students during the class "Year of the Defender of the Fatherland". The children will be reminded about the traditions of celebrating the days of military glory of Russia, the great battles of the past that determined the fate of our country, and the people who through their efforts brought the victories closer. Pupils will also be shown a video interview with Konstantin Fedotov, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, and Nikolai Sokolov, a Hero of Russia and participant of special operations.

The lesson will be held in the format of an informative conversation with interactive elements. Methodological materials and recommendations can be found on the website of the project "Talking About Important".

They will also be shown a video about the days of military glory of Russia and offered to perform an interactive task, connecting historical events and the names of their participants. At the end of the lesson the children will talk about modern heroes - participants of the special operation and offer their ideas for celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
