Adventure comedy "Vasily" was released in Russian rental January 23.

In the plot of the movie directed by Dmitry Litvinenko, a modest OBJ teacher is forced to solve the problems that got him from his twin. Among other things, the protagonist will have to find common ground with the wife of his brother from Mexico. The two twins were played by Russian actor Alexander Petrov.

"We aimed to make an old-school movie," - said the director Dmitry Litvinenko.

A separate embellishment of the film was a single voiceover by Peter Glantz - the official Russian voice of the character Deadpool and actor Ryan Reynolds. The picture is also filled with black humor and satire.

According to Mexican actress Barbara de Rejil, the shooting was crazy - in some locations, such as the forest, the team worked at night. Despite the police presence, she said, she felt it was dangerous.

The picture, whose plot unfolds between Russia and Mexico, is a new joint project of Art Pictures Studio, "Hydrogen", National Media Group and "Plus Studio" with the support of the Cinema Fund. According to producer and Art Pictures Studio founder Fyodor Bondarchuk, "Vasily" was a new experience for the team in creating an international comedy, which is no easier to shoot than a large-scale sci-fi movie.
