Ural Airlines completes work on disassembly of a plane that landed in a field


"Currently, the airline's engineering staff is completing work on dismantling parts and assemblies from an Airbus A320 aircraft with tail number RA-73805," the airline's Telegram channel says.
It is noted that by this time all the engines of the liner, attachments, hoods and reversals have been dismantled. All electronic devices were also removed from the aircraft: computers, sensors and antennas.
"First of all, the internal elements of the passenger cabin and the cockpit were removed. "..." The most recent chassis struts were dismantled. The fuselage, wings and tail are ready for disposal," the press service said.
The elements removed by the first were sent to Yekaterinburg in the middle of October last year. All other components will be sent there in the near future. There, the expertise will evaluate them for the possibility of further exploitation. It is planned to completely remove all elements of the aircraft from the field no later than February.
A year ago, Ural Airlines leased a field in the Ubinsky district of the Novosibirsk region, where its passenger plane landed in mid-September 2023, signing a one-year contract. Then it was noted that it was not said how the liner would be evacuated. The plane located on the field was surrounded by a fence, the territory was taken under protection.
The incident with the plane occurred on the morning of September 12, 2023. The crew of the Airbus A320 aircraft en route from Sochi to Omsk sounded the alarm. Judging by recordings of the pilots' conversations, which appeared at the disposal of Izvestia, one of them reported a loss of hydraulics before making an emergency landing in a field. There were more than 165 people on board the ship, including crew members. Five passengers sought medical help. Two victims with a diagnosis of "bruise" were sent for X-rays.
It was a criminal case has been initiated on violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of air transport (Part 1 of art. 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
In December, Izvestia reported that the aircraft commander and co-pilot of Ural Airlines, Sergey Belov and Eduard Semenov, were offered to resign at their own request.
