The Defense Ministry reported four destroyed UAVs over Russian territory

Air defense means eliminated four Ukrainian drones overnight over Russian territory, the Russian Defense Ministry said on 23 January.

"During the past night, on-duty air defense means destroyed four Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of Belgorod Region," the ministry's Telegram channel said.

On the eve of the governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that the regional operative staff decided to resettle the residents of the village of Terezovka in the Shebekinsky urban district. At a meeting of the operative staff, it was decided to receive partial compensation for rent by residents of Malinovka, Otradnoye, Krasnaya Niva and Tolokonnoye settlements of Belgorod district.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
