On the Sun recorded the rarest phenomenon - an ejection of plasma black color, which lasted for three hours. This is stated in a message on the website of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Institute for Space Research (IKI RAS) and the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics of the Siberian Branch (ISPP SB RAS).

"A very rare, beautiful, and even a bit creepy phenomenon occurred today on our star. Right in the center of the visible disk formed, and then partly was thrown into space, and partly dispersed in the corona, ghostly structure of pronounced black color," - reported in the center.

Scientists noted that such a color plasma usually gives neutral hydrogen, which is able to almost completely absorb the radiation falling on it with short wavelengths.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that a new powerful flare lasting 40 minutes was registered on the Sun. It was also reported that, according to forecasts, on the Sun possible flares of class X.
