Avalanche hits seven cars in Kyrgyzstan
An avalanche hit six cars and a Sprinter minibus in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations in its Telegram channel on January 22.
According to the agency, the avalanche came down in Chui region at the 132nd km of the highway Bishkek-Osh in two places at once, and its volume amounted to 3.5 thousand cubic meters. Emergencies Ministry staff rescued four people from a car that was completely trapped under the avalanche. Among the injured was a woman. She was hospitalized.
At the moment at the scene of the accident are active work on clearing. A temporary restriction on the passage of cars at the posts "Aral" and "Sosnovka" was introduced.
Earlier, on December 25, 2024, it was reported that there was an avalanche in Innsbruck in Tyrol. At the time of the avalanche there was a group of 10 people, but it was promptly found.
