A truck fatally hit a pedestrian at the Ust-Luga terminal in the Leningrad Region

In Kingiseppsky district of the Leningrad region, a pedestrian was killed as a result of a dump truck collision. This is reported by the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region in its Telegram-channel.

The collision occurred in the afternoon on Wednesday, January 22, on the territory of "Novotrans" terminal "Ust-Luga" in Vistino. According to the Interior Ministry, a FAW dump truck driven by a 20-year-old driver hit a 44-year-old man before crashing into another FAW.

The pedestrian as a result of the collision received severe injuries, from which he died on the spot, writes TV channel "78". On the fact of the incident, the police began a check, all the circumstances of the incident are being established.

At the end of December, a 51-year-old woman was run over on Engels Avenue in St. Petersburg, she died of her injuries in hospital. The driver fled, but later returned to the scene of the accident. He turned out to be a 50-year-old man, he was driving a Mercedes Gelandewagen SUV.
